This is Mrs. Craig's tenth year as principal of Porter Elementary School. She has seen the school through many developments, from its change from a K-8 school to K-5 elementary school; and this year when Porter became the largest elementary school in Blount County with over 700 students.

Welcome to our new assistant principal: Jake Jones. Mr. Jones returns to Porter after teaching 7th grade math at Heritage Middle School. Prior to teaching at Heritage, Mr. Jones taught math at Porter when it was a K through 8 school.
