Description: An inconspicuous constellation in the Southern Hemisphere.

History:  Also known as the burin, or an engraver's tool, Caelum is a modern constellation, first described by Abbe Nicholas de Lacaille, who mapped the stars of the Southern Hemisphere between the years 1751 to 1753.
