Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity

Running Time: 60 minutes

Produced in collaboration with Spitz Creative Media, Thomas Lucas Productions, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, NOVA, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and supported by grants from NASA's high-energy GLAST telescope project and the National Science Foundation.
Narrated by Academy-Award nominated actor Liam Neeson, Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity is an advanced 3-D program that brings the current science of black holes to the dome screen. This cutting-edge fulldome production features high-resolution, animated visualizations of cosmic phenomena, working with data generated by computer simulations.
Audiences will be dazzled with striking, immersive animations of the formation of the early universe, star birth and death, the collision of giant galaxies and simulated flight to a supermassive black hole lurking at the center of our own Milky Way Galaxy.
The program concludes with a live look at the current night sky.
