Directions to the Heritage Planetarium

From Maryville:

Go East on Highway 321N (the highway is designated as 321 North but you will be traveling East) -- East Lamar Alexander Parkway. The Planetarium is located approximately seven miles East of Maryville College and Blount Memorial Hospital. There are street signs indicating the Heritage Planetarium, and you may also look for the following landmark: the entrance to the Planetarium is located about 1/2 mile on the left past the "Garden of Love" -- a rock garden on the right that spells out "God is Love, He Forgives." Turn left onto the access road that services Heritage Middle School and Heritage High School. The Planetarium is not located in either of the schools! As you drive down the access road, you will see the sign marking the location of the Planetarium.

 

From Knoxville:

Take Alcoa Highway South as if you were going to the McGhee Tyson Airport. Continue past the airport until you arrive at a fork -- go left (East) at the fork on Highway 129 to Maryville, Townsend and the Smoky Mountains. Remain on Highway 129 and it will become Highway 321, or East Lamar Alexander Parkway, at the location of Maryville College. The Planetarium is located approximately seven miles East of Maryville College and Blount Memorial Hospital. From Townsend:

Travel on Highway 321, or East Lamar Alexander Parkway, West toward Maryville (the highway will be designated as 321 South, but you will be traveling West). The entrance to the planetarium is located about two miles West past the entrance to the Foothills Parkway on the right. Turn right onto the access road that services Heritage Middle School and Heritage High School. The Planetarium is not located in either of the schools! As you drive down the access road, you will see the sign marking the location of the Planetarium.
