The Blount County Education Foundation (BCEF) presented a check to be used for grant distibution prior to the kick off of the Heritage and William Blount Football game. The BCEF delivers needed educational tools to students and teachers in all county schools and core to the BCEF is the mini-grant program, which typically funds more than 30 mini-grants each school year.

The BCEF works closely with teachers, principals and central administration to understand and address the most pressing, unmet needs. The BCEF acts as a bridge between school needs and community resources by seeking both financial support and donated services from generous individuals and corporations.

The Blount County School System is grateful for the continued support of the BCEF and their commitment to educational excellence for all students.
