I am honored to present to you on behalf of our Blount County Schools team, our new five year strategic plan
for the 2021-2026 school years. This plan represents an honest look by our stakeholders or where we are as
a district, what we have accomplished, and where we want to be in the future. A special thank you to all who

Foundational Literacy Plan

This Foundational Literacy Skills Plan has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Education
and meets the requirements of the Tennessee Literacy Success Act. All portions of the Foundational
Literacy Skills plan were submitted to the department and approved.
