Middlesettlements Mission and Beliefs


Mission: 

The primary mission of Middlesettlements Elementary, through the joint efforts of students, teachers, parents, and community, is for students to develop a lifelong love of learning which will allow them to reach their full, unique potential in today's changing world.

Vision:

Middlesettlements is committed to achieving and maintaining the following:

Beliefs:
  • We believe each student is a valued individual with his/her own special physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
  • We believe all children have the ability to learn, achieve, and succeed at their appropriate level when placed in a safe and secure school environment.
  • We believe self-esteem, mutual respect, self-discipline, and the love of learning is enriched by a positive and supportive physical and educational environment.
  • We believe teachers, parents, and the community equally share the responsibilty for the support of the school's mission.
  • We believe it is necessary for students to develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will prepare them for the 21st Century.
