Our Department of Education Report Card

The HMS School Improvement Plan for 2007 set the following goals:

Goal 1 – Students will achieve 89% proficiency in reading content, meaning and vocabulary by the end of the 2008 school year.

Goal 2 – Low achieving and non-proficient students will attain targeted proficiency levels and appropriate academic standards.

Goal 3 – Higher and highest achieving students will attain advanced proficiency as well as being challenged beyond grade level academic standards through the implementation of an honors program beginning in the year 2008-2009.
