Betty Abbott, an instructional assistant, has been working at Friendsville for twenty years. Before she worked at Friendsville, Mrs. Abbott worked at Blount Memorial Hospital. She lives in Blount County. Her hobbies are spending time with her grandson, gardening, and working crossword puzzles.

Nancy Bowerman has been a teaching assistant for seven years and a substitute teacher for eight years. She is a Blount County native. Her hobbies include reading and doing crafts.

Karen Kidd is a special education teacher assistant at Friendsville Elementary School. She has been working at Friendsville for seven years. Previously, she worked at Walls Industries in Cleburne, Texas. Her hobbies are running, crafting, and gardening.

Dena McCarter, a teaching assistant, has worked at FES for 5 years. Before coming to Friendsville, she worked at a preschool for 3 years. Ms. McCarter, a Blount County native, enjoys church work, gardening, and swimming

. Mrs. Gail McMillan, a Blount County native, has been a Title I teaching assistant for 19 years. Her winter hobbies include quilting and reading. In the summer, she enjoys any outdoor activity, especially bike riding.

Jo Ella Miller, a teaching assistant, has worked at Friendsville for 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and riding motor cycles with her husband.

Leo Nichols, a teaching assistant, has been working at Friendsville for three years. Before coming to Friendsville, Mr. Nichols worked at International Paper. He enjoys collecting baseball cards and fishing.

Donna Redman, a Title I Teaching Assistant, has worked at Friendsville for sixteen years. Mrs. Redman is a Blount County native. Her hobbies include reading and gardening.

Denise Rogers is a teaching assistant at Friendsville School.

Ann R. Smith is a teaching assistant at Friendsville School. She has assisted in the 2nd - 5th grades for four years. She has also worked at Mary Blount Elementary School. She lived in North Carolina for 28 years, then "retired" back to Blount County. Her hobbies are reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, hiking, and counted cross stitching.

Marion Stinnett has been a Friendsville teaching assistant for 10 years. She started volunteering here in 1974 when her oldest child started school here. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with her family. Mrs. Stinnett is from Loudon, Tennessee.

Sandy Studer, a teaching assistant, has been at Frinedsville for two years. She has also worked at Mansfield Aircraft Products, Monta Vista Parents Day Out, Gymnastics Counts, and The Emperors Nearly New clothes. She is from mansfield, Ohio. Ms. Studer enjoys reading, photography, swimming, and gardening.
