Diane Bain meets with the talented and gifted students at our school. She has worked at Friendsville for four years. Before that, she worked at Porter Elementary for 26 years. She is a Blount County native who enjoys reading, gardening, working in her yard, and traveling. |

Karen Balsinger has been teaching at Friendsville Elementary for four years. She is currently the Title I Reading teacher. She has also worked in Nashville and Sweetwater, TN. Ms. Balsinger likes to snow ski and travel. |

Linda Carraway is the school counselor on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at Friendsville Elementary School. She has been teaching for 18 years. She also worked at Binfield, Eagleton, Porter, Alcoa City Schools, and in Havelock, North Carolina. She enjoys reading, walking, entertaining, pets, and family. |

Tammy Cash is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Friendsville School. She provides speech services for students in PreK-5 and has been teaching for 13 years. She is a native of Blount county and has a lot of different hobbies. Shopping, traveling, and watching her son play baseball and basketball are things she enjoys. |

Grady Caskey is the art teacher at Friendsville Elementary School. He has worked at Friendsville for three years. Before coming here, Mr. Casky worked at Eagleton, HMS, HHS, Rockford and Townsend. He enjoys painting, ceramics, and sculpture. |

Peggy Raines is the librarian at Friendsville Elementary School. She has been working at Friendsville for eleven years. The other schools she has worked at are Rocky Branch, Eagleton School, and Mary Blount. Her hobbies are reading, gardening, sewing, and walking. |

Diane Ward is a classroom music teacher at Friendsville. She has worked here for four years. She also works at Rockford Elementary as a music teacher. Previously, Ms. Ward has worked at Walland, Townsend, Fairview, and Middlesettlements. She is from Knoxville and enjoys sewing, playing piano, and crafts. |

Mrs. Barbara Morgan West has been a music specialist at Friendsville Elementary School for 19 years. She is originally from Greene County, Tennessee. Mrs. West also taught at Friendsville High, William Blount High, Greenback, and Lanier Elementary. Some of her hobbies are playing the piano and organ, singing, sewing, and decorating. |
