Third Grade 
Supply List 


Dear future third grade students and their parents,

Since "Back to School" sales usually begin before school starts, and since shopping for school supplies after registration is usually chaotic, I thought you might like to have a list of supplies your child will need before the sales begin. 
  • White loose-leaf notebook paper
  • Pencils - Send no more than 3 at one time, but keep several at home for replacements.  2 packages of #2 yellow pencils
  • A small (no bigger than a cigar box) pencil / supply box with lid that all of the following supplies can fit into: 
 A.  Scissors -sharp, pointed metal (not plastic)
B.  Crayons - and magic markers if desired    
       C.  Glue  - sticks or liquid (or both -- your choice)
  • Large box of Kleenex (We go through a tremendous number of tissues each year!)
  • Four two-pocket folders without brads: red, blue, yellow, and green
  • One folder for homework (any type)
  • One folder for Art
  • One spiral-bound notebooks
  • One yellow highlighter
  • One 3-ring notebook for writing (*one-inch - no larger), with 5 index dividers

  • <>One set of page protectors (at least 25) for holding papers in the protfolio
New students to our school need to bring in a two-inch or three-inch notebook for a portfolio, plus dividers.

Please label everything with your child's name.  We welcome any donations of hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, any size of zipper baggies, Band-Aids, or multi-purpose paper for our laser printer (for Accelerated Math).  Class fees are $20.00.

With this list, you can shop for the sales this summer as they happen and not get caught in the rush the week before school starts.
